this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; It's unclear what the Jets are seeking, but there's no doubt that Vilma's value took a hit because of major knee surgery last November. Vilma has started jogging and hopes to be running full speed in about a month, he ...

Re: Vilma can fly away
I could go for that or the other way around with a 3 this year and a 4 the next. Losing two picks in one draft hurts a lot but one each year is ok. Hopefully that could be done which would help our LB corps a lot, if Vilmas is completely healthy. Then I would like to see a DT and a CB in the first and second round, not nessecarily in that order, I would love it if Glen Dorsey slid to us however.
Then an OT with the 3 or 4 depending on what we would give away this year with the Vilma trade. We also need a second CB, a S and a WR and another young QB if we can find someone worth it in the lower rounds (if Palko is gooed enough to be our no 2 guy). |
W.T. Sherman is my favorite General. After all he did order Atlanta to be burned to the ground.

Re: Vilma can fly away
I love what this guy has done with his career. That season he had in 2005 was just incredible. The part I don't like is he may be an extremely high injury risk for the rest of his career. Check this out:
The part I want you guys to see is under the trivia category: Vilma was diagnosed with osteochondritis dissecans (OCD) in high school, a bone defect that can cause instability and loose particles in the joint, and this is a possible cause behind his season-ending 2007 injury. |
