this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Great value... arguably the best back in the draft. I had them taking a back in their first 3 rounds to compliment Parker. A quality lineman can be had in the second or third....

Re: B&G 2008 Mock Draft (jeanpierre you're on the clock
Actually, I look at the popular position of WR for the Tennessee Titans (e.g. Vince Young Show) and despite wanting to take the best player (as well considering need for DE/DT), I am not sure the kid from Michigan State isn't the right pick here (he's got momentum now)...
Devin Thomas, WR, Michigan State Really thought about Harvey(d), Balmer, Talib here... Even considered a RB with all the BS around LenWhale White... It would be good to have a RB that's a HR Hitter here in Felix Jones, but Thomas really makes alot of sense here... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

The seahawks unset that they couldn't find a way to trade up to get the falling Mendehall, instead go with a big addition to their offense:
Chris Williams OT Vanderbilt. He will compete with Locklear to start on the right side and will be groomed as Big Walts eventual replacement. |

The Chargers select Branden Albert, OG, Virginia.
The Cowboys select Aqib Talib, CB, Kansas. The 49ers select Kenny Phillips, S, Miami. Packers on the clock... |

With the 30th pick the Green Bay Packers select....
Chad Henne QB, Michigan. I was going to take Conner here, but didn't think another QB with value would be in the second or third. With Brett gone, I feel the QB slot has become a priority. |
