With the first pick in the draft the Miami Dolphins select...

Chris Long -- DE -- Virginia. Howie Long v.2.1 is the perfect Parcells pick.

He's a game changing, sound technique, never quitting type guy. He's a pretty low risk prospect, which will appeal to Parcells. He has an nfl pedigree, which Parcells seems to value. He is also playing a position that Parcells can justify the big payday for. Parcells likes an elite defense with an offense that doesn't make a lot of mistakes. I also think Parcells will never draft a QB in round 1.

After looking at how the Giants won the superbowl, I suspect that Miami will want to hit Brady a lot. The Fins draft for pass rush.

With the second pick in the draft the St. Louis Rams select Jake Long OT, Michigan.

The Rams need to make sure Marc Bulger stays healthy and with Long's selection, it gives them Orlando Pace's successor and two mammoth tackles. Expect the Rams high octane offense to get back on track.

Glenn Dorsey, DT, LSU - Sapp retires and the Raiders upgrade immediately. We've heard of the possible durability issue and don't really care.

The Chiefs need a complement to Larry Johnson (foot), and it wouldn't hurt to find an eventual replacement for Johnson with the same player. Holmes is done and Kolby Smith is ok but he will not replace LJ as a starting RB down the road. He is a change of pace guy
