New England Team Needs: CB, LB, OT

The Pats are known for always taking the BPA, and it has usually paid off for them. Since it aint broke, they don't fix it and take the top prospect in the draft: Darren McFadden. Maroney is a solid RB, but with this pick NE adds yet another explosive element to their already high powered offense.

Darren Mcfadden, RB, Arkansas 6-1 1/4, 211, 4.33

Rivers got a look as well as Clady, Jenkins, DRC and Leodis. None were rated highly enough to justify using the 7th overall pick.

I took no offense. I realize that McFadden is not a need pick, but there was just too much value in getting DMAC at 7. Personally, I think he's the best player in the draft, and a lot of experts agree.

If pak is taking Sweed, then it is the Saints pick, I am next with the Bills and I like DRC, but I like my Saints and my vote is for DRC. We need a CB since the two DT's are gone, biggest need is CB, David sucks,MM is aging and coming off an injury, Gay is prolly a good nickel guy, Usuama Young the same as Gay.DRC baby!!!!!!!

well i thought about taking DRC or KR and crushing the hearts of some of the fans LoL but i really wanted to see how it was going to play out and which one they want more for the saints so i figured taking sweed would fill a need, plus Trading CJ will net some more picks which they can use for the D and they can get rid of a headache at the same time... word on the street is that CJ punched Marvin Lewis after the bengals last game in the locker room... in any instance whoever they pick on D most likely wont come in and be a huge factor so it didnt really matter

denver may want to leap frog the bills. They have dumped a few WR.

Chicago also needs WR.

Not sure about Minni any more. they raided chicago

eagles should be calling to move up. They have offered the world to get a WR in the off season and struck out.

do not forget about Dallas they to are after some youth at WR.

That has nothing to do with OT and LB either.

well the votes are in and with the 10th pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints Select LB Keith Rivers USC



The Saints really need a cornerback, but Rivers is just to good to pass up. Rivers is a physically gifted linebacker who shows the toughness and instincts to play near the line of scrimmage or in space. He would add some nice playmaking skills to New Orleans D.
