He looked absolutely awful in Carolina... but we do have one of the best pass protecting lines in the league. I'd bring him in for a visit and go from there. It's always good to have a backup with extensive starting experience.

Re: carr , a decent backup?

I don't think David has the confidence to be a QB in the NFL anymore. Too many sacks have made him a little gun shy to stay in the pocket. I think he would rush a throw and make mistakes. Even with our Oline, I think he would struggle. But hey, bring him in and see if he can handle it. But I don't see it happening.

A lot of his sacks are on him. This guy holds the ball way too long. Reminds me of Rob Johnson with the sacks. I say no way. This guy is horrible.

Coach Payton have gotten production out of guys worse then Carr so it might be a good idea.

I wouldn't mind seeing Carr get a shot as backup. He has played behind two pretty pathetic offensive lines in his career, I'd like to see what he could do with some time. Just one rule, NO GLOVES.

Carr is terrible, I'd rather see Palko get some time. Carr would be a total waste of money.

Bring him in. I like the competition and if we need him for a game or two he would fill in nicely.

He wouldn't cost much, but that's about all you can say for him. I think he would be an ok backup as long as he never made it onto the field. Houston ran that poor guy through a meat grinder.
