Man I'm getting old. I just confused a QB with a LB. Time to get a check up on the eyes. Right after my colonoscopy.

I thought Patten made major contributions last season. I know for a fact he had a few MVP games. I am very happy with this decision ;0

Yeah this was a great signing. It seemed to me like Drew became very comfortable with him. He made some really great catches this year. And you know for an older reciever who supposedly lost a step or two he looked pretty quick and able to get seperation to me.

Good point, winmill. This was a guy whose career seemed dead in the water, if you will. He showed that he still has some gas left in the tank and really came through big on several occassions. He helped take a lot of focus off of Colston. I hope he can keep up the good work this season. His re-signing works for the continuity of the receiving corps.

Haven't posted in a while. Great to be back. Looks like the upgraded the site. Nice.
What's going on ForeverFan, where you been?

I really like the Patten signing, even though he's 33. I mean he did have a few games where he just blew up (Seattle, San Fran, Atl). I don't think he necessarily takes too much attention off of Colston, but he does make some pretty big catches. However, I don't know if you guys remember, but in the Arizona game, all we had to do was not fumble, and Patten started running around with the ball like it was a loaf of bread and of course got it stripped. I like him, but I was ready to kill him after that.

Patton earned a second term. Old QB w/rattled brain, no thanks.
