this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I still want to see how Rivers does in his pro day.. He is good, but he is benefiting from a highly weak linebacking group coming out of college.. and the fact he didn't run at the combine makes me ...

Re: McFadden at 10? Trade up?
I still want to see how Rivers does in his pro day.. He is good, but he is benefiting from a highly weak linebacking group coming out of college.. and the fact he didn't run at the combine makes me a little cautious.. we shall see what happens.. there's so much time until the draft it seems like an eternity..

Re: McFadden at 10? Trade up?
First...you draft Darren McFadden. The kids a stud & can run between the tackles (unlike a certain RB that shall not be named). Then....you get on the phone with Jerry Jones & trade Reggie Bush for DeMarcus Ware. Now....you call the Falcons & trade Will Smith for DeAngelo Hall. Meanwhile....you draft Dre Moore (DT-Maryland) with your second rounder & Dajuan Morgan (S-N.C. State) in the third. Finally...you kick back in your suite & light up a Cohiba while you watch the Saints march to the Super Bowl.

Re: McFadden at 10? Trade up?
I was looking back to Reggie Bush's highlights in high school, college, and his rookie NFL season.. and he is most dangerous in the slot or in motion.. I think the Saints need to go back to utilizing Bush the best way possible and he can have success again. Everyone is quick to rip him because he didn't do much in his 2nd season.. The entire team blew tho.. AND he did produce his rookie season.. Leading the team along with Colston in receptions.. and he had 4 tds against the niners.. and he scored touchdowns in both playoff games.. Isn't it best to produce in the post-season?? I for one look for a stellar 3rd year for Bush. I think he'll be a probowler this season.

Re: McFadden at 10? Trade up?
look after his combine, by some act of god, Mcfadden falls to the ten spot the saints are going to draft him. They preach the philosophy of BPA, and he fits the bill. The saints would become the new "Greatest show on turf" with Brees, Bush, Colston, and Mcfadden it would look like an arena game. Points would be put up, and one could only hope our offense could scare the opposing team into submission. The reality would be a middle of the road d would be sufficient. That being said, I see Hell freezing over before Mcfadden falls to ten.
