There's no tampering in denying they are trying to get him via trade or admitting they are trying to get him via trade. Tampering would be if they talk directly to Shockey.

I may be wrong... but this may be a draft day trade in the making...

I would not mind them possibly trading down with the Giants in the first round and getting Shockey, because at least they wouldn't lose any draft picks. But the G-men do have the last pick in the 1st round. Maybe we could get Shockey and their 1st packaged with their second rounder for #10. I would love that as long as either Dorsey or Ellis doesn't fall to 10, in which case I think we would have to take the DT.

Draft day should definitely be exciting

Tobias, Loomis said that he did not want to speak about a player who is under contract. I took that to mean...no visable tampering!
