A CURE FOR DAN MORGAN'S INJURIES.
FREE ADVICE. Hey Dan, Instead of trying to take somebodies head off with a hit... back off a little and just knock the snot out of him. This will cut down on the amount of injuries you incur and hopefully extend your career. |

....or you could try hitting them with your pads instead of leading with your head.

Re: Dan Morgan (merged)
Adam Schien and Solomon Wilcox do not like the Dan Morgan signing by the Saints. Just on Sirius.
"a LB leads with his head and Morgan has a history of concussions, not a good signing by the Saints". Schien compared this to the Zach Taylor signing in Dallas and stated he does not like either signing. On the flip side, they both conceded if the signing was for very little $$$, Morgan, if healthy, can provide some leadership. They also said the Saints are hell bent on improving their LB corps! |

Re: Dan Morgan (merged)
I haven't seen the details of the deal yet, but I'll guarantee you it will be a minimal deal with very little risk to the Saints. The upside is there and Morgan can man the Will with Vilma at his more comfortable Mike position. This will give Morgan more freedom and less wear and tear than he's seen throughout his career in the middle. Besides, Shanle is still there to step in if needed. I give the move a major thumbs up.

Re: Dan Morgan (merged)
If, though a very big if, both are healthy... Morgan, Vilma, and Fujita make a great linebacking group. I don't think anyone can argue with that.

Re: Dan Morgan (merged)
I'll be suprised if he makes it thru camp. Heck he might even knock himself out putting on his helmet...

Re: Dan Morgan (merged)
I think all things considered I would've have rather taken the chance on Takeo Spikes.

He suffered his last concussion in August of 2006. It will have been two full years come the start of this season.
Once again, I like the move ... alot. |
