i can't remember the last time i saw that many defenders sense where the play was going immediately and all get to the ball carrier, it happened on a regular basis back then....and like i said, i can't remember the last time i saw that from this team.

I don't know if any of you remember it....do you remember Swilling, Mills, Jackson and Johnson on the front of Sports Illustrated in cartoonish type print? They were drawn and made to look like zombies! The title on the cover said "4-D". Man those were the days of defense.

What made that Defense so good was their attitude. That defense went out on every play and tried to tear teams apart. An attitude like that on this team would be awesome. They just wanted to destroy their opponents.

Heres to hoping that Vilma will be a stud and Morgan can come back by some miracle. We already have two good ends and a tough DT. Man I would like to see that type of aggressiveness on a defense again.
