I will re-phrase though. It could happen but it will not be successful. Grant didn't have the speed to get around the corner, ok. He didn't have the 'push' to bully over the tackles or TE's either. Get a top teir DT to concern O lines with and demand double teams, that is who you get a pass rush.

Agreed. But on passing downs, you are forced to commit help on Smith. McCray's pass rush ability also commands some attention. Thus, the O line is a bit more spread out allowing Grant more room to work in the middle where he can explode past slower guards and generate a push up front. Even with his down season last year, he is a known threat at getting a push on the line and having three commodities rushing the passer forces the offense to either commit more players to block or to run short, quick routes - in turn, helping our dismal secondary situation.
