Re: Mayo or Rivers?
so what rookie will solve our needs? there are very few who will... the draft is used to help with the future of the franchise.. not the present.. you can not expect a rookie to come in and just be a starter from day one.. they dont know the system or the speed of the game at the NFL level.. they have to be taught to play at this level.. which is why you build your team thru the draft..

Re: Mayo or Rivers?
It looks like it will be Rivers with the 10 spot, any body else at this point would be a mild upset. What I would like for the Saints to do now is focus on improving the position played by Scott Fujita. We all know that Shanle and Simoneau are best suited for back up spots, and it looks like the Saints may have replaced them already. Now find an upgrade for Fujita and the puzzle is solved. I am not saying Fujita is a bad player, just saying if an upgrade can be found the Saints would probably have a very nice group that can help turn things around.
