Value in Rd 2
When I look at this year's draft class it's clear to me that although it may not be as top heavy as recent drafts it will be alot deeper through the first day. Really solid players will still be on the board when we pick in the second and third rounds. To me what is really unique about this class is that a few positions like CB and WR don't have clear cut #1 but have several players that grade out about the same. At DT you have two guys in the first tier (Dorsey & Ellis) and then the second tier is really crowded. This is a good thing for us because we should have most of that second tier of DTs available to us in the second. There will also be a few really solid CB prospects available as well. That's why I think we should stay put at #10 and go with K. Rivers then come back and take the best DT or CB left in the second.
What position do you think will have the most value left in the second round? Also who are some of the guys you'd like to see us go with? For me the best second round value is gonna be at CB and I'd like to see us get Justin King if he's still on the board. |
