Re: Matt Lehr named in steriod investigation in TX
The steroids thing doesn't bother me. Shawne Merriman came back quite nicely from it. Sometimes guys juice to heal quicker. Im not really sure what they are trying to investigate about him if he was just a user and not a distributor.
Also, Im a big believer that if you best players are also your best character players they tend to bring up the character of the team, including the guys that might fall out of line more easily if say you had a T.O. as a leader in your clubhouse. |

No, I don't think so - these guys are all gonna be backups, IF they even make the cuts. And the only way they're gonna do that is play well, AND keep their noses clean. Squeaky clean. So there's not much risk in these guys, but their is the potential for high reward.
Now if had traded for Pacman Jones or something, then yeah, you'd have a damn strong point. |

Re: Matt Lehr named in steriod investigation in TX
the saints are a consistantly straight team..meaning....not too many problems off the field..i think steroids are a problem in the NFL...but if matt lehr is a juicer all we gotta do is release him...he violated a contract if he did and therefore we wont even have to pay him lol....he hasnt helped us yet but i think he would've started this year until goodwin was ready....alleman wont play center....he is a guard and a good one at that...he'll get some play time this year on the left side i think...i dont think nesbit will last for too much longer
