this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; that would obviously be a dream draft -- but it could very well happen if we give up some random picks in later rounds. I don't know about getting a 2nd and 1st for the 31st though....

neither one of them are ready to start.....jammal brown is the cornerstone of the saints line...while everyone was giving up sacks the first few games...jammal was turning around to help after his guy was on his back...that is stupid....everybody knows the game is won in the trenches...you dont give up a proven left tackle for a rookie....NEVER

Re: Saints Offer J. Brown for #2 update on pg 19!!!
looks like the Rams aren't interested....
The Rams have "all but ruled out" a trade down, according to ESPN's John Clayton. Apparently the Rams aren't serious about pursuing New Orleans' offer of Jammal Brown, assuming it's true. Clayton says St. Louis doesn't want to move all the way to No. 10. The Saints now are expected to turn their efforts to Sedrick Ellis, which could lead to a deal with Baltimore or New England. for me, it's either Glenn Dorsey, or Keith Rivers.
those are safe picks and we'll be set for the long run with either of those. lets not gamble with anything - we all know the saints 1st round history |

Things are getting crazy....Brown trade bait?
New Orleans Saints, Jammal Brown, National Football League - CBSSports.com
The New Orleans Saints are trying hard to move up in Saturday's draft for a shot to draft defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey of LSU, and one of the pieces they are shopping in a trade is left tackle Jammal Brown, according to a league source. |

STUPID! He's the best OT in the NFL and we're going to make the team better by losing him? Streif ain't that good.
