look i know he is only 27 but the guy hasnt stayed healthy for the past 3 years with injuries to the knee and ankles... its hard to for a corner to keep that same ability with injuries to those areas... the probablility of him staying healthy after multiple leg injures isnt likely... that combined with him also wanting a new deal outweigh the good in my eyes... |

I agree with the injury thing and i agree with the salary thing...but none of his injuries have been major issues and we dont even know what his salary demands will be. He has averaged about 11-12 games per season the past few years with minor injuries with the group we have, having him for 12 games would make us much better. Plus, i like the idea of getting a guy who knows the NFL and has a proven track record just for moving down a few spots as opposed to drafting someone who is just a question mark. You dont know how any of these guys translate to the NFL and we have no idea how injury prone they will be. I am for the trade because moving down isnt that big of deal to me and we would be getting a proven commodity in the process.
