Re: Future of Running Back?
the only problem is that we dont have a big runner...reggie is tiny...aaron isnt ne bigger but is stout...pierre thomas is too skinny and duece is a question mark to play every season...if size is the issue we go with a bigger back...i think that speed is not an issue...the saints are one of the fastest running back teams in the nfl....we need a grind it out short yardage back....that would come in the later rounds with the backs that everybody throws out cuz their 40 times arent elite....we need a big back that can split carries with reggie but still be able to catch the swing pass and take it yard....much to my surprise sean still likes the flat passes and the trick plays....a play action up the middle with a big back would be great since reggie would be sneaking passed defenders and going deep
