Perhaps we can swap 2nds with someone for something before handing it over to the Giants.

Its a good deal for everyone - getting 2 starters for both teams is a good thing. Rams will get Brown and end up starting there DE at #10 Harvey. Well be starting Dorsey and Shockey.

Hey, I like it...2 starters... One impact player in each of our biggest areas of need.

Now what do we do about the ILB - CB??

LB's we are ok... CB's will improve by default just by having any type of pass rush.

I would agree with the thought on our CB's (especially is U Young can make an impact)..

But do you really think we're good at LB? Fujita is the only one we know to be "ready". Now our new regime is know for taking gambles (personnel and play calling) but I think Vilma and Morgan are a huge unknown.

Well I don't know much about Morgan's situation but some say he's going to return to form and be a beast. Some think its the return of the Dome Patrol which I disagree BIGTIME. they aren't 'pass rushers'. I think with the addition of Dorsey, who can reak havoic and DL's will have to account for him freeing up our LB's to blitz, drop back into coverage.

Its basically supply our coaches with a lot of great options its just a matter of them using it. Which I do suspect will fall flat and we can start getting rid of Gibbs! He is going to make me so damn mad this season I know it.

Re: IF Rams take the offer tomorrow...

I almost took issue with including Jamaal Brown in the trade up for #2, falling victim to his pro-bowl selection two years ago. Then I thought about the Tampa Bay game at home last year, when he let Gaines Adams blow his s**T up, into the back field and destroy an aggressive play call by Sean Payton, but nevertheless, a playcall that would have worked had Brown even put a finger on the guy. Throw Strief or Allenman/Bushrod (whichever one plays tackle) and we'll be fine.

He can go if we can get Dorsey, anyday!

I'd be happy with that scenario.

Re: IF Rams take the offer tomorrow...

Rams aren't taking our offer. We will get Ellis at 7 or 8 if it happens at all. I'm not for trading LT Brown. OT is the second highest paid position in the league for a reason and Brown is an All Pro. Trading him may prove to get Brees killed/injured and Dorsey will not make that much of a difference if Brees goes down.
