What if the Saints get Shockey . IMHO we have an even better offense . A few of the following things would happen , no longer would Colston face as many double teams,we would have a TE very good at moving the chains on 3rd down. Teams would be less able to guage our intentions of running or passing by which TE entered the game. We would improve our run blocking. Our REDZONE weapons would be increased. Defensive Coaches would have to game plan against another weapon . What if we trade up for DT Ellis . Our front seven would get an infusion of talent that would collaspe the pocket and allow our DE better chances to pressure and sack the QB. It would add young legs to our DL rotation. Improving our pass rush would improve our secondary's performance.

Agreed. But to get good young legs we need our 2nd and 3rd round picks.

We can't get shockey unless we give up our 2nd though.
