this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'll go with Porter on this due to the need at CB. We have to remember that if Porter doesn't pan out that it wasn't the Saints fault that Shockey fell though....

While I think straight up you'd be out of your mind not to take Shockey, I voted for Porter for a couple of reasons. One, he fills a position of need for us and from reading his scouting reports, is a great man-to-man guy. Also, Shockey would have required the trade of more draft picks.
