Re: Im happy for hester.
Hester may not have the workout stuff to turn heads, but he has one of the best "year in review tapes" in the draft. I thought top of 4 was not a streatch. So bottom of the third was close. He is one of the few I got right and I am by no means a LSU Homer. Then again what team they play for should have nothing to do with it.

Re: Im happy for hester.
I did not think the Saints would take Him but another Team with the right needs was going to snatch Him. I think he will be a good player and be patient and surprise people eventually as He did here at LSU. Once He gets on the field it is almost impossible to take Him off with the effort He puts in every play. I think the Chargers got a winner and He is going to a beautiful place.

I am VERY happy for Jacob! Knew he would go to a good team.
Very happy for ALL of the Tigers, Green Wave and the lone Southern Miss players, that got drafted this weekend. Ali WILL get picked up by someone. Many great players (HOFers) were not the fastest or the biggest players, but had the biggest heart. So I have no doubt that Ali and Brandon Sumrall of USM will be picked up. |
