Bullocks plays behind MM on the right side of the field. He is never responsable for deep balls down the left sideline. Not in cover 3, not in cover 2 not even in m2m. In cover 1 maybe as over the top help but only during a blitz package that puts Harper on a blitz or maned up against a RB/TE. And as far as our safeties biting on play action....it happens...exspecialy against teams who can't stop the run without safety help..i.e. us.

Line up is one thing and that changes according the offensive set. But watch the play develop you will see Bullocks plays his FS position like a FS not a SS. They do switch off but for the most part Bullocks is our center fielder. Thats what a FS does. The FS, as a rule of thumb does line up on the weak side and the SS is to strong side. Besides it never looks good when it is Bullocks that is always chasing the WR after he beat David. ok not always but most of the time. That is the side he normally lines up on. Davids which is the weak side.
First I think you need to know where I stand on the safeties on this team. I can not blame them to much for the play. They only played 1 full year together. So I am willing to give them time. Besides I believe the defense was schemed more against the run than the pass. So that would explain the biting on play action so much. Lets see what this year brings before I chase any of the safeties out of town. Lets see how our CB come together and how the youth at DT effects the play of the secondary.
Just remember you are watching a very young group that has not played that much together.

I could not agree more.
