Saints lineman bonds with local students | thetowntalk.com | The Town Talk

The New Orleans guard is unknown even to most Saints fans. He has never appeared in a game in his young NFL career. When he met with local middle school students Tuesday, one of the first questions he got was, 'Who are you?'

Duckworth dealt with the question good naturedly, as he did with just about everything at Alexandria Senior High Tuesday.

Soon enough, he was feeling like a celebrity.

He interacted easily with the campers, joking around and signing shirts and arms. His own left arm bore the signature "Trystan," a memento from one of his young admirers Tuesday.

"I really think I'm having more fun than some of these kids," Duckworth said. "It is so nice to go somewhere and be welcomed like this. We as offensive lineman like to do this kind of stuff, too. It's not just the quarterbacks and the running backs."
