I would bring in Thurman for a testdrive.

QBREES don't even mention Jason Taylor. We got enough problems with Reggie's fancy dancing all over the field, god knows what kind of crap we'd see with Taylor. Probally waltzing or something ritzy.

We may be able to take the money for C Grant and place it with Jason Taylor ; )

I'm not sure we have many options as there are 31 other NFL franchises that would like solid LB's as well...

Curious though, Odell Thurman has to clear waivers; I wonder if the Saints are at slot 10 on the Waivers List further up or down?!?

I keep looking at the roster and I see nothing else to speak off.
Luke Sanders?????
I keep looking at the FA and their is only the names we have thrown around already. WLB are just not there.

Takeo Spikes
Odell Thurman
Isaiah Ekejiuba
Randall Godfrey
Mario Haggan
Warrick Holdman
Junior Seau
Adam Seward
Donnie Spragan
Jeremiah Trotter
Ian Gold
Roosevelt Colvin

Looking at the list there are not really any true WLB to talk about unless we are talking walking wounded or trying to play them out of position. This maybe a spot to roll the dice one more time in the FO. Character or injury or age?

Well lets see what happens the next few months.

Roosevelt Colvin. This guy was a bada$$ at NE. If he is healthy, I would be into it.

Also, anyone notice Geathers' size? How tough would it be to convert Geathers into an LB instead of DE ? Does he have the speed ?

Hmm, interesting ?

I'd like to see us pick up Spikes. I think he's still got a little left in the tank.

I know this will be unpopular, but I actually think that Simoneau could move to the WLB and be better than he was in the middle. In 2006 he had a pretty good year for us, and a slight change in reponsibilities might be just what he needs.

Of course, there are a few players on the roster who could be surprises.

In the end, I'd be pretty happy with at least one more vetran addition to the LB corps.

too me there all too old or too raw, but if u gotta pick up someone it might as well be spikes he had 84 tackles in 14 games wit 4 sacks or Ian gold he had 72 tackles wit 2 sacks in 14 games, but he tends to get push back in run support.... i mean all else whatever happen to that office linebacker lol

don't we usually turn to the bengals when we need help?

The Enquirer - Without Odell, LB count to 11

The Bungals? I will say it again. Play for Pay Contracts only. Money kickers if you make the season without getting trouble. Then the same clauses if you decide to sign them for the following year.

Henry would be a great addition as would Thurman.

I think we can wait and see what else is out there later.

No. NO! NOOOOOOOOOO! :mad::mad::mad:

#53 is awful. Out of position and swallowed up all the time/ I'd rather see Evans on the weak side than #53 anywhere on the field.

Sam: Fujita
Mike: Vilma
Will: Evans or Shanle

Any other combo would just be a crime.

When it comes to #53, the answer needs to be "Just say No!"
