No way the score is that high. I'm anticipating a low scoring game that ends close.
And by the Saints opening at 6.5 favorites, you can count on the majority of the money riding on the Jets. EDIT: A quote from NFL.com;

I don't see this as a close game at all. The Jets are going to get blown out. Period. They are starting a rookie QB against our Top Ten Defense and, we are too versatile for the Jets to stop us inside from the elements. Throw in the noise factor that the Who Dats are going to bring to this game and I think we win in a rout and announce ourselves as the best team in the NFL this Sunday. Call me an optimist but I can't wait to shut that idiot Rex Ryan's fat mouth. And I really can't wait for Colston to catch a couple of TD's on Revis. It's gonna be a fun day!

I watched a lot of the Jets-Titans game. Collins looked bad because the Titans receivers couldn't get open. Early in the game he was threading the ball into very tight coverage and making some plays. Later on, he wasn't getting as much time and he couldn't get the ball to the tightly covered receivers. Bottom line was the Jets' pass defense looked very strong. I wouldn't expect big numbers from Brees this weekend.
Sanchez looked brilliant at times but was streaky. Our defense can contain him unless he hits one of his brilliant streaks. He's only going to get better. I'm glad we play him early in the year. I expect the Jets game to look a lot like the Bills game. It's going to be a tough win. |

This is New Orleans and I think the Jets are going to have a rude awakening.
We will see if our defense can really suck it up again. You know they do not want to lose here at home. I think we win by 10 to 14 points and cover the spread. Hope Lance M gets back in the mix. Our O line is going to have to hold up to give Brees some time. If we get time I think the jets have not played against a group of receivers yet like we have. If they play us like the Bills did we now have more answers with the run game. I admire what Snatchez (USC) has done so far but I really can not stand him and hope they get to him more than any QB we have faced yet. Right now I hate that we are playing AFC teams and still no divisional games yet while we are on a streak. |
