this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I think it was more of Sean Payton trying to get the offense moving than not trusting Carney. Payton will learn that when in FG range with a defense playing great you should always go for the points....

Cut R. Harper. Sign him to the practice squad, where he should have been anyway, and keep two kickers for now. If the need for a roster spot comes up, cut Carney and hope for the best.
