Sharper's comments post game

OK, I LOVE the fact that Sharper gets to play centerfield, that's why we brought him here, we need turnovers, and turnovers that come with 6 make it even sweeter.

But did anyone else catch Sharper's post game comments?

I LOVE the fact that this sagacious veteran was praising Morstead for his kickoffs and punts. That right there proves what kind of a leader this guy is in the locker room and in the huddle.
Punters/Kickers NEVER get credit for doing there jobs properly & executing above and beyond (except in game winning kicks) so it's refreshing to hear a league veteran say those things.
Can you imagine how Morstead feels after Sharper said those things about him when the media only cared about the pick 6? BIG BOOST in confidence for the rookie!

Sharper........astounding player and effective leader!

What a buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Saints hedged their bets on his contract ( 1 year, only 8 games guaranteed).

Dude has delivered. Time to sign him up long term (3 years with a large signing bonus) That'll give him enought time to achieve his HOF goals and to teach the young guys how to emulate him.

Yall should have seen it in person.

Dude. You could see the pass. You could see him breaking toward it.
And there was no doubt. It wasnt going to the receiver. It wasnt going to be "deflected." And it wasnt going to be dropped. It was going to be snatched up into Sharpers hands like a vacuum, and he was going downtown.

You could see it when Sanchez threw the pass. You should have been there.

Not only all that, but he also hits like a madman (legally too--that unnecessary roughness call was BS).

Re: Sharper's comments post game

i love darren the knife sharpener! i was telling my buddy last night that i wasn't too too excited when we signed him because i thought all his best years were behind him at 37. turns out i was way wrong! 5 interceptions in 4 games? are you kidding me!? and two pick 6's w/ returns of 97 and 99 yards!? this guy's still got it! i'm so happy we have him. right now, sharper is definately giving me a BROner! he's awesome!

and as for moorstead? his kickoffs were good, but, i haven't been all that impressed w/ his punts this year, especially not yesterday.
