this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; starting off the season 4-0 is great going into a bye week we will have our hands full when play resumes but the past 4 games have been fairly flawless what is there to work on? what can we do ...

so.......now what?
starting off the season 4-0 is great going into a bye week
we will have our hands full when play resumes but the past 4 games have been fairly flawless what is there to work on? what can we do better? |

It seems like the pressure has been making Brees make some quick throws that he doesnt want to make. I think the play calling was pretty reserved in the 3rd quarter. We need to work on some new plays to help Drew distribute the ball easily when coverage is tight.

It looks to me like they think our offense is all about timing, and if they disrupt that timing and have a lot of people in coverage - they can keep us from being successful on offense
Seemed like it worked to me. What do we need to do better? Have a backup plan for offense when good defenses take us out of our comfort zone. Looks to me like that's missing at the moment. |
