Who needs a fullback? The ball carrier. Payton brought Evans in after releasing a quality fullback so that he could expand his game. We have plays designed for all combinations of the running backs and Payton obviously likes having a blocker for his backs to get behind. Our Backs follow the blocks better now and it is an integral part of the game. Who needs a fullback? Payton does.
