More Fun With Stats

The Saints really shut down the run. This is a case of stats being misleading. Other than the 69-yarder from Rickey Williams, the Dolphins were ineffective. Ronnie Brown averaged 3.0 YPC (16 carries, 48 yards). Take away Rickey's long run, and he averaged just over 1 YPC. The Wildcat wasn't so wild.

I am very proud of our run D. If they can stop the Dolphins, they can stop anyone.

that they did but a few times the broke it for big gains
