Willie Jackson???

What ever happened to Willie Jackson? Did he sign with some other team? :question:

He hasn\'t yet signed with another team, the last camp he was in was with Tampa Bay. Hopefully if he does get signed it won\'t be with an NFC South rival.

Thanks for the info, Cassady37, I also agree with you about playing against him in the NFC South. He\'s a good receiver.

why did we give up willie jackson? was it salary based?

We gave up on Willie Jackson because he made the spectacular play, but the easy ball was dropped far to often. If you watch the games closely you will see how often he dropped passes that were perfect balls. On the balls not thrown so good he would make a great catch. He just wasnt very consistent. With the talent at reciever now he is no better than a number 4 option. Good reciver, decent speed, and no more potential to grow makes him expendable.
