So you like the drive on the westbank. this time of year you need to watch out for sugarcane trucks on that route going to the mill.

and dried cane all over the road, but those trucks are easy to pass. My wife & I love driving through the River Parishes, much more scenery, probably not the short cut, but definitely the stress-free route. One time we got held up by a drawbridge-- actually, I was amused. Hey yall, I'm probably out for the weekend.
