I've never actually liked Ben Roethlisberger so my opinion is completely biased but it always seemed like their success was based on either the run or highly touted defense. Its almost like, okay, he just has to "manage" the game adequately and they will win. This year is the first time that I've ever noticed that they are actually riding his arm to the win column. I'll be impressed with him if they win another SB this way.

Its probably an unfair accessment and ultimately its the ring that counts....but its my $.02. There are those whose argument about Brees is that he's just the NFL's equivalent to Colt Brennen (when he played in Hawaii)......able to put up gaudy numbers but nothing more than a product of the system.
