Am I wrong, but look at Jakes face

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'm curious, as to how you can blame Jake for the loss, when he really wasn't allowed to throw the ball. I reallize he earned that kind of treatment, with all of the picks he's thrown this year, but still. ...

I'm curious, as to how you can blame Jake for the loss, when he really wasn't allowed to throw the ball. I reallize he earned that kind of treatment, with all of the picks he's thrown this year, but still. I'm no jake fan, by any means, and I am glad we won, and they lost, but I don't think Jake lost this game. Bad play calling had alot to do with it.

I would agree but the fumble on the 1st and Goal on the 1-yard line was probably on him and cost the Panthers 4 points (a FG versus an almost sure 7 points with their running game). Granted, Drew made his mistakes too but at least they came early.
