Maybe the guy is starting to feel healthy again? You know he has been banged up his entire career so far. As for punt returns, I really can't pin that on him. The Saints special teams is pretty bad this year. I do think he is getting fewer opportunities because of the other guys who have stepped it up, guys like Shockey, Bell, and Thomas. Keep him around 10 touches so he can stay healthy seems to be a pretty smart thing. As far as what the future holds, who really knows. For now I will just enjoy and hope for the best!

It's great to have 3 capable backs on the 47, and another on the 53. |

Reggie does seem to be attacking the defense a lot more lately, yes I think that Bell and PT are rubbing off on him. It won't be long before his breakout game...hen could sure use one.

Re: Another Reggie Bush thread
Exactly. I hear people complain about his "dancing" but there is a time and place where thats a good idea. The problem lies in him doing that instead of lowering his shoulder and getting the couple extra 1st down yards when thats what the situation calls for

Yeah, he has not been a detriment to the team for a while. Maybe he is finally getting it.

It was more of not reading his blocks properly and the fumbles. Carrying the ball wrecklessly.

Re: Another Reggie Bush thread
His contribution is not just in rushing and catching passes. He has been very solid in pass protection and he may have saved a TD on the Chris Gamble INT return. It does seem like the light bulb has come back on with the rushing and the punt returns like it was on last year before he was hurt. I hope he will break one soon.
Bottom line: he's not the best pure runner on the team but he is a very versatile football player and exciting to watch. |

Re: Another Reggie Bush thread
Remember he sat out most of camp and preseason. I'm not at all surprised he had a slow start this year.
