Re: A Good Team Would Have Beaten Us Today.
Relax a lot of football to be played. Those INT were not Drew's fault. One was tip. A good team would have beat the SAINTS, but we didn't play a good team.

Porter deserves better-- he should be part of the SB celebration. Maybe he will. still. Even though he'd be gold IR sweatsuit, he deserves to celebrate, if we go. |
Re: A Good Team Would Have Beaten Us Today.
oh, and while we're playing IF's. How bout the Patriots this morning?
For twice in my life, (both yesterday) I am glad we are dealing with IS, and not IF. |

Gay and Jenkins will have to step up their play for the rest of the season, and I have no reason to believe that they wont. Gay has played solid ball for us the past 2 season, although last game was by far his worst in a Saints uniform. Jenkins has shown that he is a playmaker, you can call him a CB, FS or whatever you want, I'll call him a playmaker. He looks a bit lost at times while on D, but there are going to be a lot more reps in his future and I expect him to come around nicely before playoff time. DeMario Pressley and Hargrove have both played well in big Seds spot, and I cant even say that there has been a drop off from Clancy to Ayodele. Our DTs are all very young and still improving every day. Injuries are a major part of the NFL, the last few games we have racked up more than I would like, but it is giving the younger players a chance to get more reps during the week and games. That could turn out to be a very good thing come playoff time. Edit: Just read Porter will be back this season. That is great news!!:notworthy: |

Porter not out for season. This thread just became moot.

Re: A Good Team Would Have Beaten Us Today.
No, it hasn't. A good team would have beaten us. And Porter was in for most of the game. Bottom line is we have a lot to clean up before the Pats. If we want Dome field advantage for the plays offs we better not lose more than 1 or maybe 2 and right now we look capable of losing 4-5. gotta clean it up.
