Well done Malcolm Jenkins

A buddy of mine and I had a long debate before the draft. He thought we should choose Beanie Wells over Malcolm Jenkins. I, of course, was pro-Jenkins. After his pick today, I sent him a text saying. "Jenkins with an INT in his first NFL start. Beanie who?"

He played a great game. He was all around the ball and if he didn't make the tackle, he was near the pile. He showed great run-coverage, and his pass coverage was pretty great. That one great pass Freeman threw to Bryant for a first down deep in their own territory was just that....a great pass. You couldn't have asked for better coverage on a receiver. It was a perfectly thrown ball behind the receiver where only he could get to it. I'm glad to see him have a game like this in his first start.
