Torrence had a stinger and will be fine for Monday. Gay is still iffy for next week.

Glad to see McKenzie back in the fold. He was a popular Saint. I wouldnt expect too much from him however. I kinda heard a while back that he didnt look to be in very good shape, and then there's the knee. However, when 4 of your firs 5 CBs go down, and there's a player you're familiar with out there, it makes sense to bring him in. There was a CB on the practice squad earlier this year that we had hopes for but he was picked up by another team

I applaud this move for several reasons.
#1) MM was a player, like Duece, who contributed to the growth of this current team and deserves a free bus ride to where ever we're going.
#2) MM was a standout cornerback back when he had zero help over the top. Even if MM has lost a step, now that we have legit safety help over the top, then it shouldn't matter that much.
3) I believe in second chances for those willing to give it all they've got.
