Re: Wes Welker and Julian Edelman: "Twins"

It did make a difference bacause it took them a good while to score. And Peyton had a very short field. Thats asking alot from any defense to defend with Peyton going less then half the field. But as you can see when we had him back in his territory we were picking him off. And if Maroney hadn't fumbled, game over anyway so the point? We will take care of them later on anyway, but tmmorow its about bringing you guys back to reality. That high bubble that you all are on now without anything in the past to back that up. No rings, playoff wins or anything. And ranked 4th whatever, still not the STRENGTH of your team. See, can't even pay attention to detail like our team can.

Re: Wes Welker and Julian Edelman: "Twins"

1. Thats exactly what I said, rushing is NOT the strength our your team
Lol you've got to be kidding me.
2. Moss, Welker are just plain out great talent. Just ask Matt Cassel. And its not that Moss was in Oak but it was his desire
this statement makes no sense.
3. Tom made Branch an MVP and probowler, and made Givens, Troy Brown and Patten nearly impossible to cover
Idk if i agree with you all the way
4. You guys want to run the ball but you are still a passing team.
ok again like in number one you've got to be kidding me.
5. Colston is one of the best in the NFL, but not a T.O in his prime, Issac Bruce in his prime, Torry Holt in his prime, or Hines in his prime, or Ocho Cinco in his prime or a Marvin in his prime.. all of who we've faced.
colston's a 7th round pick.. look what he turned out to be. dont tell me a guy picked in the 7th round aside from all those other first round picks are any better. and plus he was injured last year. so i dont think last year even counts.
6. Brady came back from an infection and horrific injury, missed an entire year and is still the best in the game or in the top 2.
Umm idk but i think drew was hurt and he is the best QB in the last 4 years. and im sorry but peyton and drew are top 2.
7. A very good route runner in Watson but we distribute the ball so he doesn't get the stats.
ummmmmmmmm.. ahhaha sorry cant say much about him. havent heard him in a while.
8. My point, we were up on Indy and had them beat, they won with 13 seconds left so all we had to do is punt and the game would've been over.. but we are smarter from our mistakes
well you guys go for it on 4th down so idk if that lost finally got to billichick
9. Welker and Tom have there own routes at times and can extend the play, Moss can hit you over the top, on the outside or the middle. Doesn't matter. Not just what teams give us, but its also that we just take it and get the first down.
ok so i can say all the receivers run their own routh with drew.
10. Don't let things foul you. We can play run and smashmouth with anybody and if you think I BSing then you go right ahead and see for yourself tommorow night. We have the line, the patience and power to do so if we choose.
ok i wont let it foul me. and i hope you guys can play run cause i barely saw any if any at all.

how can you say its not the strength of our team when we are better at running than passing

i hate when people pretend like im not reading their posts.....i read every word

you think passing is our strength because of drew

we have passed the ball 328 times all from drew

we have ran the ball 324 times all from different players

just because it doesnt come from only 1 person doesnt mean it isnt effective

we have 3 running backs that can kill you through the air and ground at any given time

considering our average rushing attempt goes for 5.5 yards id say that we are very strong at running the ball

we have scored on the ground at least once every game since week 1

drew went 2 games in a row against the bills and jets without throwing a single TD pass

our rushing offense is just as deadly as any other in the league.....and it is without a doubt the reason we are so good this year

Re: Wes Welker and Julian Edelman: "Twins"

1. It's true
2. Makes perfect since. Moss and Welker are so great that they still had the numbers with Cassel and took Cassel and went 11-5, with a QB that hasn't started since HS? lol you know exactly what I'm talking about.
3. Moss and Welker are great, but Tom is great as well who can also rise the talent of others up to his level
4. Without Brees airing it out, you would not be undefeated
5. I don't care what year counts or what pick he was, if you are good then you are good. Rice wasn't a first round pick, nor was Steve Smith from Carolina but they are and were great.
6. Thats how we like it in NE, keep it quite

the years before cassel took the qb positon tom made those two top tier receivers. they were good before tom but got better with tom. so the reason why cassel was good? becasue of those guys in essense with out moss and welker and NE's defense you guys woundn't have gone 11-5. and look at the post above yours. canton outlines it for you.

I have to drive back up to school. I'll be back in about 2 hours to see how things turn out.

Re: Wes Welker and Julian Edelman: "Twins"

I love it when another opponent's fans think they know our team better than we do. If it came down to having to choose RB's by committee, I would take our boys in a HEARTBEAT over 1st round bust Laurance Maroney, castaway Sammy Morris, over-the-hill and always hurt Fred Taylor, and Kevin Faulk. Kevin Faulk is the only RB on that team that worries me because of his versatility. We have THREE RB's that versatile. Sure Reggie hasn't been what many of us hoped he would be, but he is a difference maker on the field. Pierre Thomas has incredible field vision and a non-stop motor. And you better tell that front seven that Mike Bell isn't afraid to drop his shoulder and bust someone in the mouth. Ask Channing Crowder about that. I'll admit that the Saints haven't played a team like the Patriots, but The Patriots haven't faced a team with a buzzsaw of offensive balance like the Saints. They better come ready.
