Wes Welker and Julian Edelman: "Twins"
Everyone knows about Wes Welker, the historic and ready breaking slot reciever. And to me, the greatest slot reciever of all time but Julian Edelman is showing that he wants to become that next Welker. Kind of like how Reggie Wayne shadowed Marvin Harrison. Marvin Harrison - Reggie Wayne .... Wes Welker - Julian Edelman. So obviously, you cannot just worry about Welker but you have to contend with Edelman as well.

Re: Wes Welker and Julian Edelman: "Twins"
Lance Moore is good but not great, a product of Brees
Colston is definitely good but can be stopped (We've seen TO, Hine's Ward, Chad Johnson, Fitz and Bolden in the past.. they've been shut down) Meachem beats everyone because they simply because teams try and over match for some reason.. Reggie - we know he is a slash guy but he is not what he was at USC And we will not allow the rushing game to beat us. Especially when it is not the strength of the team. And in NE, we are not about numbers and who has been catching what. It can vary because Tom finds the open man, and Edelman has been proving alot so I'm sure he will be in the mix with Moss, Faulk, Welker, Watson - speaking of Watson, who will match up with him and his speed. You aleady have Moss, and Welker, what about when they are all on the field at the same time? And Moss does play the slot some time, with Welker on the edge. We will get our yards, ground and air. Its just the way it is to be honest. The challenge will be airing it our against our defense I think. |

Colston is one of the best in the Nfl. i cannot say he is the best like every player in the NFL they have their bad games. just like brady did in the beggining of the season. and what your are saying about not being about numbers? belichic goes on 4th down ever so often. what does that mean to you? and then its backfired on you guys last week. and watson? fast yes but not a great blocker nor route runner. the only thing i can remember about watson was that touchdown saving play a couple of years ago. Faulk is good but he usually is used in pass situations and is usually running middle screens or in the flats. when moss plays the slot its usually a play for him to run out into the edges like a flag but he goes deep like a deep flag. welker jsut runs a dig or runs in the middle or a hitch and go. your offense is too 1 dimensional like what canton said. rest your case here i got all the details on your pats man. beleive i like the pats but for this game my saints are gonna dominate. and p.s. your run game is non-existent considering the last few games.

1. Thats exactly what I said, rushing is NOT the strength our your team
2. Moss, Welker are just plain out great talent. Just ask Matt Cassel. And its not that Moss was in Oak but it was his desire 3. Tom made Branch an MVP and probowler, and made Givens, Troy Brown and Patten nearly impossible to cover 4. You guys want to run the ball but you are still a passing team. 5. Colston is one of the best in the NFL, but not a T.O in his prime, Issac Bruce in his prime, Torry Holt in his prime, or Hines in his prime, or Ocho Cinco in his prime or a Marvin in his prime.. all of who we've faced. 6. Brady came back from an infection and horrific injury, missed an entire year and is still the best in the game or in the top 2. 7. A very good route runner in Watson but we distribute the ball so he doesn't get the stats. 8. My point, we were up on Indy and had them beat, they won with 13 seconds left so all we had to do is punt and the game would've been over.. but we are smarter from our mistakes 9. Welker and Tom have there own routes at times and can extend the play, Moss can hit you over the top, on the outside or the middle. Doesn't matter. Not just what teams give us, but its also that we just take it and get the first down. 10. Don't let things foul you. We can play run and smashmouth with anybody and if you think I BSing then you go right ahead and see for yourself tommorow night. We have the line, the patience and power to do so if we choose. |

You would have lost if you had punted. You were playing against Peyton Manning. 20 yards or 70 yards, it makes no difference to Peyton. Your offense failed to execute when they needed to.
