Don't you love some of the media???

I know we're getting lots of love today (and really don't care what 99% of them say), but some of these guys amaze me.

I heard several of them say pregame that WE needed to win to be considered an elite team. We more than lived up to that last night.

Now some of these guys are spinning this as more of a Patriots stumble:

"Tom Brady and the Patriots needed a win over New Orleans to be considered an elite team."

Blah blah blah blah .... even after the Saints win the Superbowl, the "media" will have something negative to say, they will make up some kind of excuse to why the other team lost

How much respect do they give to teams that are a flash in the pan? Very little, the media has learned to lean on the big name teams because they don't make them look foolish too often. How many teams have won a Superbowl and not made the playoffs the next year? We have to build the support from the media and fans alike. People like perennial winners and underdogs. Right now we're neither, but we're on the verge of something really really good. People are taking notice. 11-0 Sweet!

patriots needed a win to be considered elite? theyve been elite all decade...nothing will change that till belichick and brady are not apart of that team.
