Greer and Porter are our starters, when healthy. End of story. These guys played their hearts out Monday night, but they are not our starting CB's. If Porter ends up being out for the season, I say go with Greer and Predator. |

Re: So Who Are The Starting CBs?
I hear what you are saying but the Single McKenzie has been doing just what he did for years now. I think he is a starter with his experience over Porter for now. Greer is a shutdown and so is McKenzie. Porter is a great corner but still learning as is Jenkins. Thus the vote for Greer on one side and McKenzie on the other. That's an amazing combo.

Re: So Who Are The Starting CBs?
My only gripe with Porter, is he seems to be injury prone. Two years in a row, that he's missing major playing time. I reallize the physicallity of the position, but I say we keep everyone, and rotate, until the end of the season. Better safe, than sorry.

I think we have so much depth at cornerback, all of which that are viable starters, that we can chose starters based on the wide receivers we are playing.

Re: So Who Are The Starting CBs?
I think Greer and Porter when healthy, without a doubt. That
leaves McKenzie and Jenkins at nickel and dime. Not bad depth! MCcalister is not up to speed yet, so I doubt he can challenge any time soon. |

Re: So Who Are The Starting CBs?
It was just last week that we were saying our secondary was a weakness not a strength anymore. It's amazing how one week and two players later we're back to feeling great about the secondary.
