Freak out the redskins
On our first possession come out with Mark Brunell run a couple plays maybe one to Thomas and then Bell followed by a slant to Shockey. Have Drew on the side munching on a power bar. That would literally freak out the Washington fans seeing Brunell in the game. Okay had some fun but I'm from DC and all the local sports stations are predicting a major upset. The radio callers actually believe they are going to beat us. Also Mike and Mike are calling for an upset as well. I know we have had problems with The Skins in the past but I don't see us taking the foot off the pedal.

Re: Freak out the redskins
I lived in the DC area for 7 years. I never saw a metro area with such a home team bias. The Sunday Washington Post would have a 16 page sports section with 15 pages on the skins and a half page on who they were playing. Not surprised they are calling for the upset; they are delusional
The worst was that I was there during their Super Bowl years, and for that one game where a Skin spit on a Saint, who retaliated and got thrown out |

Re: Freak out the redskins
Yeah I lived there to and I can confirm they could be 1-14 and they still think they have a shot at the playoffs.
With that said anything is possible but our offense would have to totally choke, like forget to get on the plane or something. |

Good for them. At least they're in to it.

Re: Freak out the redskins
Going to be a very tough game for the Saints. Coming off an emotional Monday Night win at home, then having to go outdoors on a short week. Honestly though, I really do not think the Redskins are much of an offensive threat, but who knows. I do look for the Saints to pound it with the running game for sure. Brees generally doesn't do all that great outdoors in cold environments, so getting Thomas and Bell going is going to be a key issue.

Re: Freak out the redskins
i think we'll be fine. similar to the tampa bay game , i dont think there will be much fan support for the redskins as they have it made up in their mind that the saints will win. many empty redskins seats, quiet redskin fans, too many explosive saints plays will all play a mental factor against washington. plus i truly believe the pressure of knocking off an undefeated team will affect those redskins . . . . . . . . . . .
