Incident at Woodrow's Yesterday
Hey, Hou-Dats (our Houston family) I know some of yall are very
upset about what happened at Woodrow's yesterday, but I wouldnt let it ruin a GREAT DAY FOR THE SAINTS, and our SECOND MIRACLE OF '09. not to mention how cool it always is to hang out with 100 or so other crazy Saints fans. I say, lets keep cool for one day, before we discuss action. We're a very large group from a bar's standpoint, and I think they know its in their best interest to take care of us. Switching the game to the Cowboys, believe it or not, was not all that traumatic to me, as I knew they would fix it promptly. But of course, the ensuing action afterward will possibly cost the guy his job. I have contacted management, and expect them to respond today. If not, their loss, and a big one at that. They're not stupid. (except for the guy involved) Lets be cool today. PM me if you want the big guys' addy. |

Re: Incident at Woodrow's Yesterday
Let me guess...
Saints chances look slim. Cowboys are set to kick off and an employee (probably a Dallas fan) switches the channel. Saints fans get angered and want the game back. Employee/Cowgirl fan shouts things at group along the lines of; "they suck anyway", "the game is OVER", "go get your brown bags"... Saints fans turn on him. Channel gets changed just in time to see Meachem catching a 53yd TD. Am I warm? It's happened to me before in Albuquerque. Mike, Good move calming the troops here on B&G. |
Re: Incident at Woodrow's Yesterday
Its even juicier than that, '76. And there were kids in the room.
Not to jump shark, but I think the (just one) guy (not the whole establishment) thinks of us as "evacuees," and all that garbage. Well my best friend in there is technically an evacuee, but fits zero of the stereotypes. Every person in that room, black, white, spanish, (me) Asian, etc. -- all look like we work for a living. Loud, yes, but everyone is polite, trouble-free, and loves each other. |

Mike, Did your Avatar get to signal touchdown in the 4th?

Man, I hate when things like that happen... My response usually is "Hey man, relax - you have a Superbowl already!"
