Re: Bush draws Payton's ire again
hey isn't reggie averaging 4.9 yds/att? that's really good if you didn't know. am i the only one that has noticed when reggie is stopped behind the line it is usually because of a good defensive play call? thats when he starts "dancing" because he's trying to make a play.

You can make stats into anything you want them to read. If you don't watch the games and see the mistakes and see how insignificant he is... then you are missing the boat. This team has and continues to win not based on his performance but everyone else. |

2nd round picks should not be 3rd string and should not be benched. The clock is ticking and his days are numbered. Get over the man crush this is football and football is business. The math doesn't add up and really won't add up next year with his salary increase. |

You seriously think that??? Thats basically my point why pay 8 million to a 2nd rounder who is 3rd sting to guys who were not even drafted. Give the money to the players who are contributing to wins. Besides based on your stat of Bush... Colston is a better RB than Bush... he has 6 yard average per rush to Bushs 4.9. |
Re: Bush draws Payton's ire again
I tell you what... I'll give you 3 bucks for your Bush jersey... I am in the holiday spirit.

And i can't recall ever seeing colston line up as a rb, although i'm sure i've seen bush split out. for some reason i'm sensing some usc hatred goin on out in hollywood! lol! |
Re: Bush draws Payton's ire again
I agree with all of you but I also think when he's on the field defenses audible to stop him. So lets bring out Thomas and bush and run a few trickery plays. That way all the reggie looks can benefit us

Re: Bush draws Payton's ire again
Yeah but in order to do that he has to be on the field instead he's on the sidelines watching Bell or Thomas when the game is on the line so that argument really doesn't hold up.
If he was so important he'd be in when the game is on the line. |
Re: Bush draws Payton's ire again
he sure gets the ball near the endzone alot for not being in the game when it is on the line.
|
Re: Bush draws Payton's ire again
apparently you didn't see the redskins game where he stepped out just before the first down marker which we were not able to convert and punted. Soon after the knucklehead stepped out damn near Payton who pointed it out to him on the spot... GOT BENCHED! He did make a good cheerleader after that.
|
Re: Bush draws Payton's ire again
oh, you mean the game where he was coming back from injury, and everyone already knew his role would be limited?
|
Re: Bush draws Payton's ire again
apparently you haven't watched many games this year either.
People are getting tired with his lack of production and with the price tag on his head for next year he is as good as gone. |
Re: Bush draws Payton's ire again
It's one thing to be opinionated. It's another to be an aggressive .

Now I did see Payton get upset at Bush when he blocked during what should have been a screen to him. He must have missed the call in the huddle on that play and it also resulted in an illegal lineman downfield. Which then led to the famous Meachem TD. Which in fact was a horrible Brees decision to even throw that ball. So Bush made a mistake then Brees made a mistake. |

Re: Bush draws Payton's ire again
What is this mans problem ? I am almost on the bust wagon for him. For sure he does not have the power to break tackles and seems he does not understand angles and is not really elusive. His days are numbered here for sure unless Payton has a magical role for him that I have not seen. The Saints are getting very little production wise from him and his numbers are going to help him hit the road looking for a paycheck.

now, if you understood football better, you would see why the saints strive for offensive balance, and why players have different roles according to their strengths. i swear you only repeat stuff you hear on pregame shows. |

I know very well what the Saints do on Offense. And you aren't on offense if you are standing on the sidelines. |
