of his dance moves on a run, gets tackled for a loss, and the next thing u know, we are third and 12, instead of
third and 1. His star power, should not dictate play calls. If he is not cutting it, get him
off the field. I'm sorry, but I don't see him here next season. There are a lot of "dynamic"
Rbs coming out in the draft, that won't cost us 10 million dollars next year.

Re: Bush draws Payton's ire again

This quote says it all:

But it's a reminder that Bush sometimes gets in the way of the Saints offense.
You really have to see a game in person and keep your eye on Bush to understand just how NOT into it Bush looks sometimes.

Is he trying too hard?
Does he not trust his instincts?
Not smart enough?
Scared?

It's one game back from the injury. His one punt return did look pretty bad. Hopefully this will motivate him and he will be back playing like he did pre-injury.

I want to see the 'Reggie Bush' that we saw his first two seasons. He had that fire, that hunger, a little arrogance, that feistiness he had to fight for those extra yardage. Now, I see what he has become. I don't know what benching him might do for him. It can either motivate him to want to get back out there, like with Vince Young and Alex Smith (who, by the way, was Bush's HS teammate) or it could break him. I don't know if he's still have visions of Sheldon Brown's hit on him in the playoffs dancing in his head. Stay Tuned....

RealDeal37.... Sound like a plan.. I say we get him off our books and go for some talent on the defensive side of the ball... We'll be a better team for it next season I believe....

Re: Bush draws Payton's ire again

Getting rid if Bush for some defensive talent is a great idea.

If Bush would just get it in his head that this isn't the PAC-10 and you aren't fast enough to break every play outside like you use to in college. This is the NFL.
EVERYBODY IS FAST!!!!!

The 2 plays that he did stay with the play and hit the hole that was designed to be there guess what happened?

1. He took it for a touchdown
2. He had the longest rush of his career like 65 yards or something.

Wait on the damn play to develop and then attack the hole!!!!!!

Re: Bush draws Payton's ire again

Funny who this topic keeps being brought up after I first mentioned it at the beginning of the season.

The writing is on the wall...

Re: Bush draws Payton's ire again

My patience is starting to get very thin with Reggie. I've defended him for quite some time but enough is enough. If he doesn't start to show some sign of improvement then its time to start weighing other options.

The offense looks so crisp when he's on the sideline and plays aren't called to force anything. We'll see what happens in the offseason

I'm one of the fans who has had Reggies back from the start. How he can go from the fleur de leap for a TD to someone who is totally lost is beyond me.

Re: Bush draws Payton's ire again

Maybe its the star mentality he has.
Usc had some stars, but bush is used to
being the focus. Now we have multiple
weapons, and standouts on both sides
of the ball. Maybe he feels like he has
to do even more. Kind of like an ignored
baby. The more u ignore, the louder it gets!
