Re: New Report: Greer to Miss Next 2 Weeks
... the bright side is that the next couple of games are in Domes, one being in NO, so there will be no slip-n-slide. Plus, the Saints are familiar with the Falcons. I'd rather the Saints have Greer and Fujita healthy come the playoffs.

Hopefully it will be six weeks until the Saints first playoff game.

Shockey had the same and came back but was never right the rest of the season. Not sure if Greer's case is the same, we'll see.

You must be deep in Cow-kitty country like me. If we end up 11-1, that 1 just can't be the Cowboys...Injuries are the one thing that can derail our season. If we have to hold some guys out so that we are reasonably healthy for the post season, then so be it. Groins don't just go away like sprains, and could be aggrivated if tinkered with too soon. Man! that's a long list...and may get longer with other guys having to pick up the slack. Maybe we should get all of the mouthpieces re-fitted.

Re: New Report: Greer to Miss Next 2 Weeks
We will not have Greer back for any portion of the playoffs no matter how far we go. We might have a stove-up lesser version of Greer back there, but it won't be Greer we had at the beginning of the season. To be honest, you don't WANT him back there - the other team will attack him all game long and it will cost us plays and points.
Time to start planning and preparing our "new" starters. Get them some game experience in the system and hope for the best. |
