Tracy porter practices!!
Cornerback Tracy Porter returned to the practice field on a limited basis Friday for the first time in four weeks since spraining the medial collateral ligament in his left knee. He's still listed as doubtful for Sunday's game at Atlanta, but it was a good sign that he should be back in plenty of time for the Saints' playoff run.
Tailback Mike Bell is listed as questionable for Sunday's game after missing practice Thursday and Friday. Both he and Coach Sean Payton said Bell just had some soreness following last Sunday's game at Washington, so he hasn't been ruled in or out for this week. Receiver Lance Moore is also listed as questionable after practicing on a limited basis throughout the week with ankle and hamstring injuries. Linebacker Marvin Mitchell is doubtful after missing practice all week with a hamstring injury. Linebacker Scott Fujita (knee) and cornerback Jabari Greer (groin) have been ruled out. Everyone else on the injury list is listed as probable: tailback Pierre Thomas (quad), tailback Reggie Bush (knee), tailback Lynell Hamilton (shoulder), left tackle Jermon Bushrod (thumb), guard Jahri Evans (toe), center Jonathan Goodwin (ankle), tight end Jeremy Shockey (hamstring), tight end Darnell Dinkins (foot), defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis (knee), defensive end Bobby McCray (back, knee), linebacker Jonathan Vilma (knee), cornerback Randall Gay (hamstring) and safety Usama Young (hip). Like they said, even though hes doubtful, least he has got back onto the field |

Re: Tracy porter practices!!
great news. I'd like to have him back for the Cowgirls game, but I don't expect to see him back until Tampa at the earliest

Re: Tracy porter practices!!
I'm getting a little worried about the fact that all our RBs are on the injury list even if they're listed as probable.

Re: Tracy porter practices!!
Our bye week was just too early this year. Lots of guys playing with bumps and bruises now because of it. Lets just say that bye week in the playoffs is gonna be HUGE for us.
Hopefully no one else has any setbecks and no new injuries occur. (I'm loudly knocking on wood right now) |
