I think the only reason people want to rest is to prevent injuries but injuries happen. The team is already sitting players with injuries and most not on IR will be back in time. Saints will be in good shape by then and have a week off already and just need to get hot and stay hot.

Yes, and IIRC, the year the Colts won the SB it was because they had to keep their foot on the gas the entire season to keep HFA in the playoffs...
