The Fake Field Goal Attempt
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; the real issue was the missed PAT if we had made that extra point then we would've been up 4 at that point in the game we could've kicked the FG and been up 7 instead of 3(or 6 if ...

 the real issue was the missed PAT if we had made that extra point then we would've been up 4 at that point in the game we could've kicked the FG and been up 7 instead of 3(or 6 if we kicked the FG) IMO 4th down is for 1 thing.....kicking.....you kick the ball on 4th down.....thats the beauty of having 4 downs instead of 3 like canadian football 3 downs to get a first down and then 4th down to either kick a field goal or punt the ball im very rarely a fan of going for it unless the game is on the line terrible call IMO |
